We are in search of a skilled and seasoned UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual and interactive elements of our digital products, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the development team, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs.
  2. Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for websites and applications, considering user experience principles and design best practices.
  3. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
  4. Ensure the consistency and coherence of the overall design by adhering to established design systems and guidelines.
  5. Conduct user research, and usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and enhance designs based on user insights.
  6. Work closely with developers to implement and integrate designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
  7. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to continuously improve design processes and outputs.
  8. Collaborate with marketing teams to create visually compelling graphics and promotional materials.
  9. Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of design systems to ensure design consistency across various projects.
  10. Provide mentorship and support to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Requirements:

  1. Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer, showcasing a strong portfolio of previous projects.
  2. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or other relevant software.
  3. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  4. Experience with responsive design and the ability to create designs that adapt to various screen sizes and devices.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively convey design ideas and rationale to cross-functional teams.
  6. Familiarity with front-end development technologies is a plus but not mandatory.
  7. Bachelorโ€™s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field (preferred).

We're looking for a Laravel Developer (ideally based in Lahore or willing to relocate here) to develop online applications and to also maintain current legacy php applications.

The core focus of this role is to independently build web apps with little briefing. The ideal candidate will know basic UI/UX practices to build sections/pages where design is not available.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and deploy web apps using the Laravel framework
  • Create server-side logic to handle front-end inputs
  • Identify and correct flaws identified in the code
  • Work with SQL databases
  • Ensure that all database inputs have been parameterized
  • Ensure that the relevant security standards are in place
  • Make sure you've built unit test cases to ensure your code is operating as intended and to avoid potential security issues
  • Create written documentation for each component
  • Maintain legacy php applications as well

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for 3 years
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework
  • Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)
  • MySQL profiling and query optimization
